Hannah Swann is an independent Americana artist whose music blends soul of Texas and the spirit of Nashville. A voice inspired by the vulnerability of Patty Griffin, the grit of Bonnie Raitt and the emotional depth of Susan Tedeschi. Hannah’s songs tell stories rooted in heartache, hope, and the spaces between. Born and raised in Texas, Hannah’s journey began with the release of her first single, “Hometown,” which she performed at the prestigious Americana Jam Festival with Jack Ingram in 2016 at the iconic Gruene Hall. Since then, her career has been marked by a steady climb, filled with performances across Texas and beyond, captivating audiences with her authentic lyrics and soulful sound. Her live performances are a testament to her dedication towards her career. From Austin, New Braunfels, San Antonio, Waco, Houston, Victoria, Kyle, Gruene, San Marcos, Wimberley and even Las Vegas. Hannah has played over 100 shows annually since 2021, transitioning between solo sets, intimate duos, and full-band performances. Hannah began a permanent residency at Gruene Grove, where she launched the popular “Hannah & a Headliner” series, a Monday night event that showcased weekly song swaps and behind the song storytelling with fellow artists. Her performances have also been a staple at major festivals, including the 5th and 6th annual Silobration Festival at Magnolia in 2019 and 2021, Spring at the Silos (2022), and Christmas in the Silos (2022). Her relationship with Magnolia grew stronger as she became a frequent performer at the Magnolia Press Patio in Waco, TX. In 2023, Hannah performed on the Americana stage at the vibrant Día de Los Muertos Festival, and in 2024, Hannah took the stage at Wine and Saengerfest in New Braunfels. She also made her mark at the 1st Annual Shinerfest, further solidifying her presence in the Americana scene. Her debut EP, “Between Love & Longing,” is a heartfelt collection of songs released in 2022 features collaborations with legendary artists like Brady Black, Zack Walther, Matthew Briggs, Jeff Plankenhorn, and more. The EP is a reflection of her growth as an artist, blending bluesy undertones with Americana storytelling. Hannah’s work has garnered attention from the media, with multiple interviews on 92.1 KNBT and KWVH 94.3, where she’s shared insights into her songwriting process, musical influences, and journey as an artist. While her roots are in Texas, Hannah has been splitting her time between Nashville and Texas, expanding her reach and connecting with new audiences. Currently, she’s in the process of writing and recording a new album, continuing to evolve her sound while staying true to the soulful, authentic style that defines her music. Influenced by artists like Susan Tedeschi, Miranda Lambert, Patty Griffin, Bonnie Raitt, Rachael Price, and Radney Foster.
